Same old feeling Same old feeling Never leaving Relationships end But never mend Gone but not forgotten Sitting there feeling rotten Missing the irrelevant Missing when you thought they were hevean sent But the veil has been lifted Enlightenment has been gifted Once afraid to be alone Now that’s your only throne Laying empty with a heavy mind Thinking of when times were kind Smiles and laughs you once heard While your heart was being lured Into a trap of happiness A trap of love A trap of friendship A trap of purity Once released from said trap Once the sticky feelings have been forced out like sap Once you are finally free You still wonder why did it have to end so badly ? You tried so hard to keep it together But in the end the relationship was always weak as a feather After you start to feel better Something in you stays black as leather You try and move on But the memories are the pawn The pawns of depression are always there Its harder when you don’t care Listen to the nice voices They know the right choices They’ll help you achieve They’ll help you understand why those people had to leave No ones out to get you No one wants to hurt you Hug your self to sleep There’s no need to weep Blow a kiss to the ceiling so it may fall back on your dreams Because self love is what really makes the seams.
